Welcome to Asking For Trouble
Asking For Trouble is the crafty pseudonym of Marceline Smith, an artist and designer based in Glasgow, Scotland.
Starting with doodles from my sketchbook, I create a collection of handmade and printed products using digital illustration, rubber stamps and my Japanese gocco printer.
The current collection includes cards, notebooks, gocco prints, bags and totes, fabric purses, felt flower brooches, and badge sets. I also have a range of digitally printed fabric and my designs are available on everything from mugs and calendars to tshirts and shoes!
I'm a fine arts graduate from Grays School of Art in Aberdeen, specialising in Printmaking. My work is stocked in a number of online and brick and mortar shops, and has been displayed in UK galleries including the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh, NB Gallery in Wiltshire, The Park Gallery in Falkirk and UK DIY in Manchester.
