Christmas Gift Guide

Well, those last posting dates are looming and if you’re outside Europe, you really best get cracking! Here are some gift ideas from my shop, if you need some help.

Diaries and calendars are traditional Christmas gifts and we’ve got some of the cutest ones around! A 5 Year Diary makes a lovely long term gift, birthday calendars are great for those forgetful friends and calendar magnets make a cute gift for everyone – you can even slip them into your Christmas cards!

For something a bit special that will get some compliments, try our accessories and homeware. Wooden Bread Slice brooches are one of my biggest sellers and appeal to all ages. Hello Cakeify tote bags are great for school or grocery shopping and everyone’s kitchen would be improved with a Cutie Fruity tea towel.

Stationery fans have plenty to choose from, whether it’s a handy shopping list or an adorable hand-stamped notebook. Best of all, treat someone to their own custom address labels, with 15 cute designs to choose from.

I’ve got stocking stuffers aplenty too. Choose from my range of badge sets, pick up some cute acrylic coasters or add a pretty Book Heart bookmark to books and book tokens for a personal touch.

And finally, don’t forget I’ve got lots of cute gift wrap, tags and cards to make sure your gifts look just as exciting from the outside.

Check out my Christmas Gifts collection in the shop for more ideas. Happy shopping!

Stockist Update

Have you noticed I updated my stockists page? There are so many new stores selling my products, I’ve given the page a facelift so it’s easier to browse. Here are a few recent additions for you to check out.

Tamtokki is a brand new shop in Bordeaux and my first French stockist. It’s a really cute store and I’m proud have my gift wrap sitting alongside products by Shinzi Katoh, Momiji and Decole!

Quirky Boutique is closer to home, an online store based in Liverpool. They have some great gifts on offer, including a selection of my stationery.

And finally, Tania Holland Gallery is in Bridgnorth near Birmingham – if you’re in the area do pop in to browse the art and handmade gifts, including a range of my items.

Some crazy offers for you

So, apparently there is some big holiday going on in the US this week? I’m kidding. While we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here, we still get to take advantage of the crazy deals going on for Black Friday. It’s a good time to grab some bargains so here’s a few codes you can use to get my stuff on the cheap!

Zazzle have a few offers on today, including 30% off these new ceramic ornaments, 20% off mobile cases and a whole 50% off cards. I’ve got a lot of cute designs on offer, and many of them are customisable so you can add names and messages. Just use code  ZBLACKFRIDAY at checkout. Hurry though – these deals end at 10am PST (6pm GMT).

If you haven’t bought my book yet, now’s your chance as there’s 25% off all this week at Lulu. Just use code CYBERWEEKUK305.

Not for Black Friday but all next week (28th Nov-2nd Dec), Spoonflower have a 2 for 1 deal on fat quarters. That means buy any fat quarter and you can choose another one for free! No code required – it all happens automatically at checkout. The offer applies to all base fabrics so go nuts! Here are all my designs, if you fancy picking up something cute.

And while we’re here, DaWanda have a special Christmas offer on just now with 12% off  for 12 days. Just visit my shop and all starred products have 12% off that day. The category changes every day so check back if there’s something specific you want.

Happy shopping!

2 New Stockists

I’ve just added two new shops to my stockists page. The first is all the way over in Prague, at a lovely international bookshop for children called Amadito & Friends. They’ve got a whole lot of my badges and a few other things.

The other is closer to home – Mind The Gap in DeCourcey’s Arcade here in Glasgow. They sell art supplies and gifts and now have the full range of my gift wrap and tags, plus some badges and stationery.

Please do pay them a visit if you’re in the area!

Happy New Bunny

2011 bunnies

I’ve been thinking I should start a new Tumblr called ‘things I found while tidying up’. This is the latest thing I found, which I meant to scan in almost a year ago!

It’s a little leaflet I picked up at Loft in Tokyo, showing just a small selection of the bunny-themed New Year designs on offer. New Year is a huge thing in Japan – you basically have to send postcards to everyone you have ever met. You can click through to see it bigger on Flickr.

It may also give you some idea of just how impossible it is to shop in Japan – faced with all these cards and many many more, plus matching rubber stamps and stickers, how can you possibly choose what to buy? It was only the discovery of this leaflet that allowed me to leave the shop without spending all my money.

If I had to choose, these would be my favourites – carrot rocket!

Panda Bunny Dress

Panda and Rabbit Dress

How cute is this? Pretty in the Kitchen made this tiny Blythe dress using my Bunny and Panda fabric from Spoonflower! I think this is actually the first time I’ve seen someone using my fabric, yay!

She sells her dresses on Etsy (this one has sold!) so take a look if you’re a Blythe owner. I would quite like some of these in adult sizes.
