Zazzle Update

By Marceline | January 28, 2010

So, I ordered my shoes! Exciting times. However, they take a week to make, another week or two to ship (from the USA) and then they’ll almost certainly get held up at customs before Royal Mail extort some more “admin fees” to hand them over. But still, exciting! I’ll be sure to let you know as soon as they arrive.

In the meantime, you can see some pictures of actual Zazzle mousepads I designed. My mum was needing some so I got them sent to my house so I could assess the quality. I’m glad to say they are excellent – much thicker and shinier than I would have thought. If you’ve been considering one then I say GO FOR IT. Only took a week altogether as well. My shop is here.

Valentine’s Day

By Marceline | January 21, 2010

You might have noticed the shop is looking all lovey dovey now that Valentine’s Day is on the horizon.Whether you’re after a cute card or a sweet gift, there’s lots to choose from. Check out the Valentine’s Day collection for ideas.

I’ve also added another new product which is ideal for Valentine’s Day – custom book heart cards. I made a few of these for weddings last year and thought I’d make them available in the shop too. You get to customise it to match the couple so the font style and book heart designs match their tastes.

SALE SALE SALE!

By Marceline | December 29, 2009

It’s sale time in the shop so why not grab yourself a bargain? All my Christmas stuff is majorly discounted with cards just 50p each and calendars almost sold out. I’ve also put loads of other stuff on sale that I don’t plan on making any more. If there’s something you like in the sale section, then it’s likely to be your last chance to buy it! There’s also free UK shipping on all orders over £10.

When I return properly in futuristic 2010 I’m going to be streamlining my product range and bringing in some new designs. There’s a whole lot of stuff bubbling around in my head and I need to sit down and plan it all out. You will definitely be the first to know though!

Until then, stay warm and have a Happy New Year!

Christmas really is coming now

By Marceline | November 19, 2009

calendar

I’m sorry, but you’re going to have to admit it! There are in fact, only 36 days to go. If you haven’t given it much thought yet (and if so, I am right there with you!), then do not fear, as I have been quietly stocking up the shop with lovely things.

christmas cards

For instance, I have two card designs; one that’s super cute and one that’s a little bit subtler, with my vintage buttons pattern.

I also have calendars – a great gift for the less organised. They have a different, season-specific illustration for each month so you can have a little bit of cute all through the year.

But that’s not all – there’s a whole Christmas collection in my shop with gift ideas, gift certificates, boxed stationery sets, wrapping and tags. Go have a look, and remember that all orders over £10 get a free calendar magnet!

PS. If this isn’t cute enough for you, then pop over to Super Cute Kawaii as we’ve been adding literally tons of new stock, fresh of the plane.

GoogleTalk and Market Weekend!

By Marceline | August 14, 2009

mugs

The Cakeify mugs are out of the oven and ready for my double craft market weekend! That is our kitchen above – when I got back from Oban it was to discover my flatmate had painted the kitchen a much lighter yellow and got rid of our massive dining table! It feels like a whole new room now and we have so much more space.Hurray!

Almost as exciting is a new feature you might have noticed over at the shop:

googlechat

Yes, you can now ask me questions in real time using Google Talk. You don’t need a Google account or an IM program so if you need to know something quick or are having some weird problem, feel free to hit me up. Above you can see Monsieur Le Bun and Hamish testing it out. I promise to make a bit more sense if you ask a question :)

And so, on to the craft fairs. I’m going to be at the Glasgow Southside Craft Fair on Saturday and then at The Flying Duck’s free all-dayer Duckstock on the Sunday. I’m not sure quite how many ducks will be there but Covetables, t-boo and We Are The Robots from the mafia will be! More info on both on my Events Page. Hope to see you there!

Stamping is go!

By Marceline | June 6, 2009

Stamped Notebooks

I’ve been getting to grips with my new stamps and the first fruits are now in the shop – little notebooks with my characters. These are double fun to make as I get to colour them in with watercolour pencils. Bread Slice and Orange are available now and lots more will be added in the coming weeks, once I get a red ink pad.

Thank you cards

I also tried out my button stamps to make new thank you cards to go out with orders. Every time I make a batch of cards I think there’s no way I’ll get through them and then all too soon, they all disappear. So an extra big THANK YOU to everyone who makes a purchase from my shops – I still get far too overexcited when I get a sale.

Felt Flower Brooch Sale

And finally, don’t forget the brooch sale ends tomorrow. Hop to it!

Zazzle Weekend

By Marceline | May 23, 2009

zazzle shoes

I’ve been adding lots of new cute things to my Zazzle shop including tshirts, aprons and baby things, plus some new designs including my geisha and the Cutie Fruity Friends. I hope you like!

zazzle

Zazzle are also having a Memorial Day sale on the US site so you can get yourself up to 70% off using the code MEMORIALSALE at checkout. I think anyone can order from the US site, though UKers may prefer to see the prices in pounds right here .

It’s a bank holiday here in the UK as well so hope you all have a good one!
